Hestan – the company behind the most versatile kitchen equipment available to the restaurant industry – is gearing up to attend the 100th annual National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show, taking place May 18-21 at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, IL. The NRA Show is one of the nation’s leading restaurant industry events, bringing together more than 65,000 professionals. Hestan is excited to showcase its innovative line of customizable and modular commercial kitchen appliances, including cooking suites, freestanding ranges, wine cellars and more.
“The NRA Show is one of the annual highlights of our industry,” says Eric Deng, president and co-founder of Hestan Commercial Corporation. “We’re very excited to share our latest products with the professionals who provide the inspiration for Hestan’s continued innovation.” In addition to product demonstrations, world-renowned chef and longtime brand ambassador, Thomas Keller, will join Hestan in booth #5218 May 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., during a portion of which he will lead a question and answer session.
Attendees of the NRA Show will also have the opportunity for hands-on experience with product favorites from Hestan, including:
- Upright Convection Ovens: Hestan upright convection ovens are created to answer the demand of customers looking for larger production capabilities. They are energy efficient and provide extremely consistent results at a large oven capacity — optimal for baking in high volumes. With precise sight lines and a low-profile convection fan system, the ovens feature a small back-to-front footprint, ensuring lineup with the same depths as the rest of the heavy-duty line.
- Open Burner Rangetops: Hestan rangetops are designed to focus heat towards the epicenter of the brass burners, creating an unprecedented balance for accurate cooking. The burner systems can produce power as high as 35,000 BTU/hour and as low as 1,500 BTU/hour — providing ideal searing, broiling and simmering — allowing rangetops to be as adaptable as the chefs using them. Heavy-gauge welded body construction, highly polished stainless steel rod grates and the removable lift out burner bowl ensure durability and easy cleaning, while providing the long-lasting functionality commercial kitchens require.
- Wine Cellars: Hestan wine cellars provide a convenient safe-haven for vintage wines with built-in oak racks with glides that reduce vibrations for protection, two temperature zones to optimize storage for a variety of wines, and triple-paned bronzed glass to ensure maximum UV protection and temperature retention.
- Sauté Stations: Hestan sauté stations combine the high performance of the CircuFlame™ single-flow brass burner system with the practicality and convenience of a rear-mounted cold rail and lower refrigerated drawers. Available from 36-inch to 72-inch wide configurations and with options including drop-in induction burners, the sauté stations bring together functionality and design in a single purpose-built unit.

“At Hestan we have spent years designing and refining a suite of high-quality, versatile products that can be customized to meet the individual needs and tastes of chefs and culinary professionals,” added Deng. “Our design and technology is unlike anything the industry has seen before, and we will continue to raise the bar to transform the commercial kitchen industry.”
