Leading Industry Innovator Recognized by DESIGN Magazine for Latest Achievements in Commercial Solutions
Hestan—the award-winning culinary brand renowned for creating the market’s most advanced, powerful and versatile home, outdoor and commercial kitchen equipment—is proud to announce its most recent win of a bronze 2018 Excellence in Design award for its commercial pass-through convection oven. Organized and hosted each year by industry authority, appliance DESIGN Magazine, the Excellence in Design Awards (EIDs) are given to companies who excel in unique designs that are well-engineered and have practical functions. After careful review by an independent panel of distinguished judges in the field of design, Hestan was selected for the third consecutive year, spotlighting the brand’s creativity, ease of use and visual appeal.
The award-winning product, Hestan’s patent-pending commercial pass-through oven, is designed for single-depth cooking suites and allows access from both sides of the oven with dual soft-opening, counterbalanced doors. The heavy-duty, high-efficiency convection fan and motor system delivers excellent convective heat transfer and retention. Combining superior cooking performance with innovative design, the oven is also available in Hestan’s twelve signature color finishes.

Hestan has been pulling in honors for breakthrough work in both the residential and commercial sectors over the last two years. In 2016, the California-based brand secured two VESTA awards for its residential outdoor grills, including Best in Show. In that same year, Hestan’s commercial line also won its first round of EID awards for the French top range and modular salamander system. In 2017, the accolades continued with a TWICE VIP award for outdoor kitchen products and grills and a gold EID in the outdoor and leisure appliances category. The brand has also been recognized with three Kitchen Innovations Awards for the French top range, modular salamander system and CircuFlame™ burner.
